"POWER-UP" - Together in PrayerThe pastors of Trinity acknowledge that all of us are being negatively impacted by the recession and that some of us are being severely hurt by it. Therefore, this summer, they are going to be reaching out to the congregation in care and prayer in an extra and very personal way. They will meet together every Monday and Wednesday morning at 8:30am to pray for people in our congregation.
AND -- Every Wednesday Night they will lead:
“POWERUP”
‘Together in Prayer’
A special prayer time when prayer requests will be brought forth from their pastoral work and others. “POWERUP” continues on Wednesdays throughout the summer at 6:30pm in Trinity House. All are welcome.

| 57 TRINITY PARISHIONERS ON MISSION TRIPSIn early July, 57 Trinity parishioners will leave our community to go and serve others in their communities.
On July 4th, 41 youth and adults leave for a week of service with the Appalachian Service Project in Mingo County, West Virginia. They will be repairing the homes of 6 families in that area, making houses safer, warmer and drier.
Then on July 12th, 17 youth and adults will leave for a week of similar service in Hornell NY, as they repair homes through the RISE mission ministry.
Both teams will return to the Trinity congregation to bring a brief mission report on Sunday July 19th. Also, as these teams are serving, two other teams are in the organizational and planning stages for THEIR mission trips.
The DC Encounter will again find 7th and 8th graders in mission to the homeless and hungry in our nations capital in November, and the Haiti Mission Team will depart for a week of mission service in Port au Prince Haiti next January.

| MIDNIGHT RUN MISSIONBeginning in January,2009, Trinity has been operating a monthly outreach mission to the homeless in New York City. Based on a foundation of sharing and caring, the exchange of trust, understanding, and care is the essence of this mission. During these Midnight and Breakfast Runs, member-driven vans circulate to assigned locations to distribute clothes, food and toiletries to the homeless. An average of twenty-five Trinity members participate in this mission opportunity each month in numerous ways, including the collection and organization of materials, food preparation, and going on the actual “Runs”. Donations are the lifeblood of the Midnight Run effort; we welcome contributions of food, toiletries, and gently-worn clothing, as well as cash. For more information, or to become a part of this mission, contact Sonja Gaertner at gaertner@comcast.net

| | MISSION TEAM FROM HAITIA 13 member mission team has returned from an 8 day trip to Haiti, where they delivered over $20,000 worth of medical supplies to Grace Children’s Hospital, and other ministry sites. In addition over $7,000 was donated for the various ministries that the team visited, which included churches, orphanages, hospitals, schools and clinics. The trip was the 10th time a team from the church has ministered on the island of Hispaniola. Haiti is the poorest country on the Western Hemisphere, and the human needs of its people are extraordinary.
