Dear Trinity family,
I’m beginning to think about Christmas gifts. I’ve even bought a couple. And soon enough I’ll wrap them and give them. This weekend at Trinity we begin thinking about 3 of the greatest gifts you can ever give. That’s the sermon series we’ll offer, and this weekend we address one of the hardest of the gifts. The gift of forgiveness. Have you had trouble forgiving someone in the past? Or right now in your life are you having trouble forgiving someone? Then this weekend’s theme may be a blessing to you. The scripture passages are Ephesians 4:29-32 and Matthew 18:21-22.
Other details of our services include:
SATURDAY NIGHT WORSHIP AT 5:00 – Music will be shared by the 10 Simple Rules Praise Band, and the message will be given by Pastor Anthony Pami.
8:15 CHAPEL – Pastor Paul Wells leads and preaches and Jan Wells will share a solo.
9:15 CONTEMPORARY SANCTUARY WORSHIP- The Celebration Praise Band will lead us in music and I’ll share the sermon.
10:45 TRADITIONAL SANCTUARY WORSHIP- Our Chancel Choir and the Peace Ringers will share music and I’ll offer the sermon. We’ll also dedicate our next mission team: the DC Encounter youth team who leave for Washington DC soon for 4 days of service to the homeless in our nation’s capital.
Also, in each service, we’ll recognize our veterans. And on Sunday in Starr Hall, we’ll have our Greetings Ministry table, where you can take a few minutes to write a note to a person facing some challenging matter. I hope you will feel that worshipping God together with other Christians is a priority this weekend.
