About Our Ministry:
The Children's Ministry at Trinity encompasses a variety of activities and ministries for children, nursery age through the 5th grade. When children enter the 6th grade, they become part of our Student Ministry program. From the time children are born through the 5th grade, boys and girls have many opportunities to glorify God and discover their faith in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship. Church School News If you're NEW to Trinity, never registered your child for Church School OR have updated information to share, please stop at the CHURCH SCHOOL OFFICE, to complete a Church School Registration Form or print the Church School Registration Form and drop off the completed form to the Church School Office.
Church School Mission Opportunities May's Mission of the Month is...Peru! In May, Trinity's Church School classes will begin a month-long mission of helping less fortunate children in Peru by collecting NEW and UNOPENED "children's meal" toys. Mission Team Leader Arlene Van Horn has this to say..."Although there are McDonald's and other fast food restaurants in Peru, the cost for a meal is too expensive for the people to purchase a "children's meal" for their child. So the TUMC Team going down in July 2013 would like to take down, NEW and UNOPENED "children's meal" toys from any of the various fast food restaurants around town. SPROUTS News Are you a 4th or 5th grader? Then, you're invited to attend Trinity's Sprouts group What's Sprouts about? It's a small group experience designed especially for 4th and 5th grade students to support them in their daily lives AND to prepare them for Student Ministry activities that begin in 6th grade. Stamping For Girls During our time together we will learn different craft techniques and make cards together for all occasions. It is a great in time to learn something new and have fun together in a safe and Christian environment. We will make four cards together and the cost is $10.00 to cover the supplies. Join us at any time! For ages 8 - teens.
This ministry is intended for young people, ages 8 to 12, who wish to knit or crochet. Instruction and patterns will be provided. Although personal items will be made, the ultimate goal will be the creation of a prayer shawl. Space is limited, so sign up early!

Parent's Group Offerings Sacred Parenting Parenting a child is an in-depth course on spiritual formation, expressly designed by God to shape your soul in ways you cannot imagine. What if one of God's primary intentions for you as a parent isn't about successfully raising perfect chldren, but about you becoming more holy? Sacred Parenting helps you look at parenting from a different perspective. With the help of a video featuring author Gary Thomas, we'll explore a roadmap of spiritual growth through the children that God has given us to parent. Sacred Parenting will help you learn how God can transform dirty diapers, a toddler's tantrums, and a teenager's silence, in order to transform you into a person who reflects the image of Christ.
