Trinity is in the heart of the Hackettstown community and it has a large heart for the people of Hackettstown
Local community ministries include:
1. The Lord’s Pantry - is a food distribution ministry offering bags of food to persons once a month. The pantry is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am – 12 noon. Food is distributed from the pantry, located in the "Barn." For additional information, visit our Ministries page.
2. Thrift Shop - The Trinity Thrift Shop is open five days a week, selling good, gently-used items at very low prices. The hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Thursday we are also open from 5:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
Donations are welcome and accepted as long as they are useable/wearable/saleable. Shop volunteers may reserve the right not to accept items if they believe they cannot be sold.
The Thrift Shop furniture annex is located in the Barn, and typically has 30 – 50 pieces of gently-used furniture for sale at very reasonable prices. The hours for the furniture annex are Tuesdays 9:00 -11:00 a.m. and Saturdays 12:00 -2:00 p.m.
The Trinity Thrift Shop has been recently ranked as the second largest thrift shop in Northwest New Jersey, and many believe it is the best.We are located at 211 Main Street in Hackettstown and can be reached at (908) 850-3669. For additional information, visit our Ministries page
3. ESL / SSL classes - Trinity offers free classes in English as a second language and Spanish as a second language every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. in Trinity House throughout the school year. Free child care is also available.
4. Women-Infants-Children (WIC) PROGRAM - Trinity is the site of the federal WIC program , offering support and assistance to Women, Infants and Children who meet certain income guidelines. They meet in the Community Room on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
