The Mission Statement of Trinity UMC states that we are a fellowship that seeks to share the love and word of Jesus Christ with all. To that end we understand our responsibility to help the congregation fulfill this mission by offering multiple ministry involvement opportunities. To volunteer for any of these ministries contact our church office 908-852-3020 or submit the Volunteer sign-up and indicate how you’d like to help. We appreciate any time you have to offer.

Participants will meet with Pastor Jenny once a month for 10 months, in order to learn and hone their leadership skills. The result of the ministry will help persons grow in their Christian leadership abilities for use in the church and beyond.

Church Mice is a team of persons that provides sanctuary care at Trinity by replenishing supplies and checking to make sure things are in order.

Office volunteers at Trinity are a team of persons who serve in various ways in support of the ministry of the church office. This includes such tasks as copying, making phone calls and stuffing worship bulletins.

Property Ministry provides for the care and upkeep of our physical campus. Persons work in small teams doing simple care for our buildings and grounds

Lay Visitation is a team of persons who visit the homes of senior citizens and shut-ins. Persons typically make two visits a month, and serve under the leadership of two coordinators.

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is a ministry to the homeless in Warren County. Trinity participates in this network of churches who take turns hosting persons who are homeless. Four times a year we receive up to 14 homeless persons who sleep in our facility. We provide dinner and companionship, while during the day they travel to the IHN office to make calls and contacts in seeking permanent housing, jobs, etc.

Trinity offers a free Thanksgiving meal for anyone who cares to join us. Trinity offers this turkey dinner annually and invites volunteers to assist in a variety of ways.

Prayer Shawl is a dedicated team providing prayer shawls for the sick, grieving and others. Hand-made by our 3 prayer shawl small groups, folks gather to pray, knit, crochet and share in fellowship. The shawls are distributed wherever a need is found.

Offers assistance in getting from the parking lots to worship services. On Sunday mornings for our 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. services, as well as Christmas Eve, this six passenger golf cart brings people from the parking lots to the entrance of the main building.
