Business Administrator/Treasurer & Senior Administrative Assistant

September – June: Monday – Thursday; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
July & August: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm; Fridays off

Primary Responsibilities:
Primary Phone Reception
Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, and route calls to appropriate persons.
Retrieve overnight & weekend voicemail messages from the main extension and route them to the appropriate person.

Database / Membership Maintenance
Routinely update Shelby database membership module.
Input new members, transferred members, deaths, births, baptisms, confirmations, weddings of members and other member-related information. Church-school registrations.
Input and calculate worship attendance weekly.
Provide mailing labels, team listings, membership directories, etc. as requested by office staff and ministry team leaders.
Provide statistical reports of attendance as requested by senior staff and appropriate ministry team leaders.
Maintain On My Mind and other email database lists.
Enter In His Steps profiles into Shelby database as commitment cards are received and disseminate information with appropriate ministry chairs; coordinate such with Associate Pastor.
Weekly provide church school rosters for attendance.

Ensure that Safe Sanctuaries policy is adhered to by all ministry team and programs at Trinity; keep updated list of signed forms. Serve on Safe Sanctuaries Ministry Team.
Operate office machines, including computer, copier, printer, folding machines, fax machine, computer, laminator, etc. as may be necessary.
Attend staff meeting every other week.
Be an appropriate representative of the church in promoting and supporting church programs and policies; hold in confidence all personal information that may be heard of discussed in the office.
Perform all other related administrative tasks relevant to the scope of the job, when requested by Pastor(s) and ministry team leaders.

Skills Required
Excellent keyboard skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs, including Word & Excel.
Familiar with Microsoft Office database management.
Familiar with office phone systems.

$19,000 / no additional benefits.
