Campus Security Plan Emerging

Last year, we held an Active Shooter Seminar led by members of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. In follow up, we’re now working on a campus security plan. A leadership team has been established, and the first step of having a campus-wide assessment with representatives of N.J. State Police has been held. Annual Conference Details

The yearly meeting of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference will be held May 19th – 21st. The conference is the annual gathering of elected delegates from all local United Methodist churches in the greater New Jersey area. It will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey. Caravan of Hope II

Last September we had a significant mission moment when we accomplished our first Caravan of Hope – the feeding of 5,000 people in two days (actually 5,532!). Trinity leaders have now enthusiastically approved a plan to hold the Caravan of Hope II. We’ll implement the Caravan mission this coming fall on Saturday, September 14th, holding it on one day rather than two like last year. We’ll keep the goal of feeding 5,000 people by again…

New Safe Sanctuaries and Social Media Policy Approved

Trinity has long had a Safe Sanctuary Policy with clear guidelines regarding our interpersonal behaviors, with a special focus on keeping everyone safe and feeling secure on our campus and in our ministries. The Greater New Jersey Annual Conference, of which we’re a part, requires that all local churches have such a policy.
