Director of High School Ministry

Reports to Associate Pastor – Family Ministry
Grades 9-12

Job Summary:
The mission of the part-time position of Director of High School Student Ministry is to share the love and word of Jesus Christ with High School aged youth (grades 9-12) through the auspices of the High School Student Ministry.

Principal Responsibilities:
The Director will support and understand the larger vision and strategic plan of Trinity Church, and in consultation with the Associate Pastor of Family Ministry, will develop/communicate the vision for this program. The goal is to invite, train, develop and deploy Christian disciples.
Provide a weekly fellowship opportunity for high school students which encourages spiritual growth and build a community of youth.
Attend bi-weekly Staff meetings and monthly Family Ministry Team meetings.
Recruit, train, and coach a group of laypersons who love Jesus Christ and enjoy working with students to serve in the ministry. They will utilize their gifts to provide mentoring to students and/or leadership for programs.
Develop and stimulate students by utilizing multiple types of communication methods.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Middle School Ministry Director the annual IGNITE Student Ministry Conference, B1 Fast weekend and all other quarterly mission projects.
Organize summer activities and/or programs for high school students.
Collaborate, as needed, with all other directors of high school youth, i.e., Trinity Singers, Trinity Ringers, Youth Praise Band, etc.
In consultation with the Finance Ministry Team and the Associate Pastor of Family Ministry, develop and manage the High School Student Ministry budget.

Salary: $6960 annually
