The Sanctuary will be open for prayer from 6:00pm, December 31st until 6:00am on January 1st. There will be a host attending every hour of this 12-hour period. Families worship together in the sanctuary. Children received their own Giving Envelops during our Commitment Sunday lesson - they are encouraged to bring theirs to worship on Family Worship days and to class on KidVenture days.
Baking again! Bread of Life Mission will be visiting Newton on Saturday 1/7 and they are in need of desserts to serve, so High School Ministry will be providing desserts for approximately 50 people. Midwinter Advent (1/27-29) On Friday (1/27) we will gather in Starr Hall at 4:00pm for a 4:30 pm departure on the bus. (Kids should bring their own bagged dinner for the bus ride there.) Sunday (1/29) we depart from the retreat around 12:00 pm with an ETA of 2:30ish to Trinity UMC.
