  • Exploring Fixed Situations –

With the big snow storm this week, my car was piled under lots of snow. I shoveled it free, and then overnight the snow plow came back and plowed me in again. It got very cold. In the morning, as I tried to move my car, I realized I was stuck. I couldn’t drive out as usual but rather needed to work on the problem of being stuck. People get stuck in our problems, in our poor habits, in our negative thinking, and in our spiritual detour. This weekend there’s a great story we’ll explore about a guy who was really stuck. It’s in John 5:2-15.

As we continue our Lenten journey, our worship services include the following details:

SATURDAY AT 5:00 IN TRINITY HOUSE
Our Meanz of Grace praise band leads us in worship and the sermon will be shared by Pastor Jenny Smith Walz.

SUNDAY
8:15 CHAPEL WORSHIP – Pastor Paul Wells leads chapel, and we welcome a special guest. Emma Browns is an 11-year-old who will share a special message in worship, based on the scripture “with God all things are possible.“

9:15 CONTEMPORARY SANCTUARY WORSHIP – Our Celebration Praise Band provides music, and I’ll share the sermon.

10:45 TRADITIONAL SANCTUARY WORSHIP – Music is shared by our Littlest Angels, Music Makers, and the Agape Ringers. We’ll recognize local scouts, and I’ll share the sermon.

Children participating in our Bible Memory Verse game can tell a pastor their verse before or after worship services. So plan now to thank God for your many blessings as you gather with your church family at a service this weekend.

Blessings and peace,

Frank
