Dear Trinity friends,
You made a choice today – actually many choices. Indeed, one of the greatest of God’s gifts to us is the gift of free will – to choose how we shall live. Jesus gives a choice – he invited his first 12 disciples to follow him, and they made a choice. Every day WE have that same choice; will we follow Jesus? That’s the theme of this weekend at Trinity as we conclude our 3 part sermon series – What Is God’s Will for My Life?
We consider choosing to become more of a follower of Jesus and what that looks like. The Bible passages are Deuteronomy 30:19-20 and 1 Thessalonians 3:11-4:3.
In addition, our worship services this weekend include:
SATURDAY NIGHT WORSHIP AT 5:00 – the Meanz of Grace praise band shares music and Pastor Don will preach.
8:15 CHAPEL – we welcome Trinity parishioner and Certified Lay Servant Sharon Hoff to the leadership of our chapel service. Sharon is in the process of becoming a Licensed Local Pastor in our denomination and currently is a supply pastor at the Vienna and Free Union UMCs. Tom and Teri Mooney share music.
9:15 CONTEMPORARY SANCTUARY WORSHIP Pastor Jenny leads and preaches and our Youth Praise Band provides music.
10:45 TRADITIONAL SANCTUARY WORSHIP – We’ll be blessed by the music of the Music Makers, the Littlest Angels, the Trinity Ringers and the Brick Church Ringers. I’ll share the sermon, and Pastor Jenny will be the liturgist.
A joyful weekend is planned at Trinity and you can catch the spirit of that joy by your presence, participation, and engagement.
