Healing Wounded Hearts – Jan 20th & Jan 21st

Dear Trinity Church family,

Guilt. It’s a universal experience in life, and yet one of the hardest for people to deal with. People often share their feelings of guilt with me in our private conversations. Living with guilt is often devastating for people, and sometimes unbearable. It’s a wound of the heart that is very painful. That’s why we conclude our special 3-part sermon series (HEALING WOUNDED HEARTS) this weekend looking at how a Christian can deal with and defeat the feelings of guilt that sometimes overwhelm us.
I hope you will come and hear what God’s Word says about this, even if it does not currently apply to your experience, but also because you may be able to help someone else who is in the deep pit of guilt.
Our primary Bible passage is Mark 2:1-12. In addition, worship services this weekend will include:

SATURDAY NIGHT WORSHIP AT 5:00 – Our casual worship service will include music by the Meanz of Grace praise band, and the message will be shared by Pastor Deb De Vos.

8:15 CHAPEL – Pastor Don Gebhard leads our service and shares the message.
9:15 – CONTEMPORARY SANCTUARY WORSHIP – The Celebration Praise Band help us praise God with their music and I’ll share the sermon.
10:45 – TRADITIONAL SANCTUARY WORSHIP – Assisting me in leading worship is one of our youth, Basil Iacampo. We’ll share the sacrament of baptism with 3 families, the Chancel Choir will offer music and I’ll share the sermon.

Some of our own just returned Haiti mission team will share some God moments in our 3 Sunday services.

In addition:

-You can sign up for a Lenten small group (we have 25 different ones, including an online group) as we roll out the start of our Lenten church wide study called “FINAL WORDS ” – in which we look at the final words of Jesus on the cross. You can also purchase the book we’ll be using – of the same name, written by Adam Hamilton.
