We had a glorious and joyful Mother’s Day at Trinity last Sunday. I smiled often at seeing so many families together in worship, mothers and daughters together, sometimes 3 generations together, and all worshippers, together. That’s one of the most important words in the English language. That importance is emphasized when considering the opposite of together; apart, separate, alone. Those aren’t happy words! So in worship, we come to be together, and that is always a good thing. This weekend we explore one final perspective on The God of Second Chances – our recent sermon series. That perspective is through the use of words. The Bible passage is about the dramatic event that happened to the Apostle Paul. It is found in Acts 9:1-9, 17-20.
Here are some other details of our 4 worship services:
SATURDAY AT 5:00 IN TRINITY HOUSE
The Meanz of Grace praise band will lead us in music, and I’ll offer the sermon.
8:15 CHAPEL WORSHIP – Pastor Jenny Smith Walz leads and preaches and we’ll share in a baptism.
9:15 CONTEMPORARY SANCTUARY WORSHIP – The Celebration Praise Band leads us in music and I’ll offer the sermon
10:45 TRADITIONAL SANCTUARY WORSHIP – Music will be shared by the Peace Ringers and a combination of Agape and Brick Church Ringers, Anthony Pami will assist and I’ll share the sermon.
In addition, at the SNW and sanctuary services, we’ll hear a brief presentation about our columbarium plan, which we hope to build on our property in the fall. There will be a table in Starr Hall Sunday morning where you can get more information about the columbarium and memorial wall. I hope you’ll choose to come TOGETHER with your church family this weekend at Trinity.
