Email Rev. Munoz

Rev. Erica Munoz
​Lead Pastor

Rev. Erica (Milone) Munoz has been ordained an Elder in Full Connection
since 2012. She grew up in the Newton UMC and went on to receive a
Bachelors of Music Education from WV Wesleyan College and a Masters of
Divinity from the Boston University School of Theology. She also obtained a
Certificate in Youth and Young Adult Ministry from the Boston Theological
Institute.

Upon graduation, she was appointed as the GNJ Coordinator of Children,
Youth, and Young Adult Ministries and Safe Sanctuaries.  In 2014 she was
appointed to Aldersgate UMC in East Brunswick and served as the Chair of
the Raritan Valley District Committee on Ministry, Secretary of the GNJ
Board of Pensions and Health Benefits and was a Circuit Elder in the Metro
Highlands region.

She was appointed to Trinity UMC in Hackettstown in July of 2022.  She
lives in the area with her husband Matt, their two children, Madelyn (11)
and Braelon (8), their Goldendoodle Hazel and cats Smokey and Leo.

​Rev. Dr. Debra A. De Vos
​Associate Pastor, Spiritual Formation and Discipleship

Rev. Dr. Debra A. De Vos (Deb) is an ordained deacon currently serving as Associate Pastor at Trinity since 2015. She earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Jersey City State College and a Master of Arts in Ministry with a concentration in Biblical Studies from Drew University in 2014. She earned a Doctorate in Ministry in Prophetic Witness and Service from St. Paul’s School of Theology in 2020.

he loves facilitating Bible studies and small groups. She enjoys working in small group ministry and helping people grow in their discipleship building deeper relationships with God and others. Deb has a passion for spiritual formation, working with people to develop the practices that will help them grow in their faith journeys, falling deeper in love with God. She also has a passion for raising awareness to our call as Christians to biblical justice and helping people to realize how that plays out in living our faith and being part of society. In particular, she is dedicated to ending the sin of racism.
 
Deb has served as the secretary and the Chairperson of the Skylands District Committee of Ordained Ministry.  She serves on the GNJ Board of Ordained Ministry and is the Psychological Assessment Coordinator. She has chaired the GNJ Board of Discipleship and is a member of the GNJ Committee on Religion and Race. Deb is also a clergy mentor for GNJ and the Skylands District. 
 
​Deb has one adult daughter, Rachael who is married to Andrew who are parents to her grandson, Benjamin. She and her husband Rob, are human parents to their two black kitties, Elvis and Dusty. In her free time, Deb enjoys reading, music, counted cross stitch, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, quilting, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends.​​

Email Rev. Gebhard

Rev. Donald Gebhard
Pastor of Outreach & Worship

Rev. Don Gebhard graduated in 1999 from Moravian College with a degree in Psychology and Business Management. He received his Masters of Divinity from Drew Theological School in 2002 and is currently working on becoming an APC Board Certified Chaplain, which is a five year process.  Pastor Don is in his third year of this program.  
 

He began serving Trinity UMC in 1992 as a volunteer, youth director and subsequently as pastor through 2020. He returned as the Pastor of Community Outreach in  2023. Don has a big heart for Trinity UMC and Hackettstown. He resides in Hackettstown with his spouse Jana and their two children, Olivia and Micah.  Pastor Don has served the greater Hackettstown community in a variety of different roles:  Centenary University Chaplain, Chairperson of the Hackettstown Drug Alliance, Volunteer Recreation Coach and as a Hackettstown Medical Center Hospital Chaplain.​

Janet Mahoney
Director of ​Congregational Care

Janet Mahoney grew up in Raleigh, N.C. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.A. in Environmental Science in 2001.

anet began her career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at A4 Health Systems in Cary, N.C. In 2004, she moved to Orlando, Florida. She continued her work as an Executive Administrative Assistant at LandAmerica Financial Group which Fidelity National Title Group later acquired. In 2008, she met Bill, and married in 2011. Their daughter, Sophie, was born in 2013.

After several relocations, Janet and her family moved to Hackettstown, N.J. They became members at Trinity United Methodist Church in 2023. Janet has been involved in multiple parts of TUMC. She has an innate love for people. She enjoys family time, long walks, the beach, and dogs.
