May 13th – 8:00 am in Starr Hall
Our guest speaker will be Rev. Paul Zorn from the Lake Hopatcong UMC and the Hurdtown UMC discussing: “In the Wesleyan Tradition: Serving More Than One Congregation.”
John Wesley and his early disciples traveled by horseback to serve multiple congregations. It is said that John Wesley, himself, would often preach two or three times a day and in his lifetime preached over 40,000 sermons. Today, the United Methodist Church still has pastors who serve more than one congregation. Rev. Paul Zorn is one of them. Rev. Zorn will be speaking at the May 13th, United Methodist Men’s breakfast about what it is like to serve two congregations. He will be sharing insights into how he does this. Everyone is invited to come to hear Rev. Zorn’s informative presentation. The breakfast is not just for men, it is open to everyone. Breakfast starts with coffee at 7:45 am and always ends by 9:30.
