Refugee Crisis Prompts United Methodists Response

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is responding to the refugee crisis and the needs of many migrants fleeing war-torn areas around the world. The United Methodist Church has long had a large heart for those who are in need. The current global need of the world’s refugees and migrants is being addressed as Christians are invited to help.

They invite concerned persons to make a donation through the UMCOR website. Look for the “UMCOR Global Refugee/Migration Advance #3022144 to make an online donation, or write a check to UMCOR, noting the previous number on the check, and place in the offering plate; we will see that it arrives in the correct place.

Our small group entitled God in Many Faces is currently studying the refugee crisis in their group.
