Struggles within the church and fears have plagued United Methodists for the last few years. Jesus came, not so that our lives would be stolen by fear and pain, but so that we might be made whole, and be liberated to courageously follow where He leads. Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi has invited all United Methodists on a Journey of Healing, we began in January by naming our wounds (GNJ website), now the bishop and cabinet, along with designated prayer warriors are covering the wounds with their prayers. Starting late February, every district in our Conference will gather for Pre-Lenten worship services where we’ll cleanse our wounds as we celebrate communion together. Save the date and plan to join us for a healing service in the Skylands District: DATE: Saturday, March 1st, 2025 TIME: 2pm PLACE: Denville Community Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd Denville, NJ |
