KidVenture (Age 3 – Grade 6)
What is KidVenture?
KidVenture is Trinity UMC’s Sunday morning experience for children, three years old through the 6th grade. Children gather in the Trinity Chapel every Sunday for a time of worship and then are dismissed to their classrooms for learning and fun. Each week, the children will learn a bible story, do an activity, sing new songs and pray together with their church friends, teachers, and pastors. We use the Simply Loved Curriculum and enjoy weekly bible videos shared by our furry friends along with exciting music videos each time we gather. We follow the Christian calendar for lesson planning and follow the Hackettstown School calendar for holidays and breaks. We start the Sunday after Labor Day and end with a children’s program in June. KidVenture kids also participate in the Christmas pageant and other kid programs throughout the year. All teachers and KidVenture Adults are Safe Sanctuaries compliant and have completed a criminal background check.
