Some of the Missions  of Trinity United Methodist Church

  • Appalachia Service Project - We send a team of youth/adults for 1-2 weeks to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families.
  • Bread of Life - 2-3 times a year we provide a meal & fellowship for those in need in a nearby community.   We also hand out clothing items, toiletries, paper products, etc.
  • Caravan of Hope – We feed 5,000 people in one day!  5,000 boxed lunches that are distributed to those in need all over New Jersey.
  • Caring Hands to Hearts – Scarves and hats hung outside for those in need to take.
  • Chosen – Individuals in our church sponsor over 50 children in the village of Malawi, Africa supporting housing, schooling and basic needs.
  • Other sponsorships - As a church we also sponsor two teenage girls in Nigeria and a young child in Haiti.
  • Dayspring Ministries - For many years Trinity UMC has been a dedicated supporter of Dayspring Ministries.  We have sent multiple teams on missions trips, donated money, sent supplies, and sponsored children at the school and orphanage.
  • Hoving Home - We support the women in need in this local home with food, fellowship, funds for special needs, etc.  We also helped them start a garden so they could grow their own herbs and vegetables.
  • Midnight Run - We send teams into New York City every other month in the early morning to distribute breakfast, clothing, shoes and toiletries, etc. to those in need.
  • Rise Against Hunger – We pack 10,000 plus meals to be distributed globally!
  • Truck Stop Ministry - Each December we pack 500+ bags with homemade cookies, holiday candy, and a Christmas message to be distributed to long-haul truckers who pass through the TA on I-80 in nearby Columbia, NJ.
  • UNTO - We donate large supplies of medical equipment and blankets to this worldwide humanitarian aid organization.  Ladies of the church also work on sewing projects for UNTO.
